Professional Profile

Alfa Bravo Consulting was established with the objective of making available to organisations, institutions and non-profit entities the expertise, professionalism and experience I have developed in the fields of civil protection, emergency management, European project development, training and exercise design.

My name is Alessandro Benati and throughout my professional career I have worked in both national and international environments, collaborating with public authorities, humanitarian organisations and European partners in the development of projects, training programmes and exercises aimed at strengthening preparedness and emergency response capabilities.

Today, my work focuses primarily on three areas: consultancy in civil protection and emergency management, exercise design and delivery, and support for the development of European-funded initiatives and projects. In these areas, I assist organisations and institutions through consultancy, training and operational support.

I have developed specific expertise in the design, conduct and evaluation of exercises, ranging from Discussion-Based Exercises (DBX) and Table Top Exercises (TTX) to Real Scale Exercises (RSX) and Full Scale Exercises (FSX). I support organisations and institutions in defining exercise objectives, developing realistic scenarios, managing Exercise Control (EXCON) structures, evaluating performance and identifying improvement actions.

In parallel, I design and deliver training activities in the fields of civil protection and emergency management, while collaborating with qualified professionals and organisations in the delivery of occupational health and safety training programmes.

I believe that effective preparedness is built on the integration of operational experience, training and planning. For this reason, my approach combines technical expertise, organisational understanding and a results-oriented mindset, with the objective of delivering practical, sustainable and actionable solutions.

Through Alfa Bravo Consulting, I support organisations and institutions in developing capabilities, procedures and tools that enable them to address present and future operational and organisational challenges more effectively.
